Monster Bash!

Today the kids were out of school!  So that meant a special Family Storytime!

We had a theme of Monster Bash.  First Cassie read Crankenstein by Samantha Berger.

Then we sang: If You're A Monster and You Know It

(to the tune of If you’re happy and You know it)

If you’re a monster and you know it, wave your arms,

If you’re a monster and you know it, wave your arms,

If you’re a monster and you know it, then your arms 

will surely show it,

If you’re a monster and you know it, wave your arms!

Additional verses: show your claws; gnash your 

teeth; stomp your feet.

Then Amanda read Leonardo the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems.

Then the kids were asked to decorate their own eyeballs to "Pin the Eyeball on the Monster". 

Ferdinand, our monster, after the kids were done.

Then we ate cupcakes!

The kids were able to test the crime scene outline on for size.

Yes, the outline is of Cassie. 

Everyone had a great time!
